- Beyond Waterloo (ATO Magazine @ Kickstarter)
Against the Odds Magazine has launched a Kickstarter for an upgraded reprint of their award-winning game, "Beyond Waterloo." The John Prados design begins with Napoleon entering Paris in 1815, but keeps the field open for how and where Europe reacts to him. (Unlike other "100 Days" games, there is nothing that pushes players to have ANY battles in Belgium except their choices!). Beyond Waterloo won the Charles S. Roberts Award in 2012 for "Best Magazine Game." It has been out of print for several years, and ATO wants to upgrade the issue, incorporate clarifications and errata, and include all the expansions and extra scenarios that have come out as well. Stretch goals include card-stock charts, upgraded cards, player aids, and more. [Forum]

- Buffalo Wings (Against the Odds @ Kickstarter)
FINAL DAY! ATO announces their first kickstarter, to reprint their popular "Buffalo Wings" issue, one of the fastest "sold outs" in company history. Buffalo Wings is an 'entry level' game in the "Fighting Wings" series of air combat games by J.D. Webster covering the two wars between Finland and USSR. The upgrade will redo the map and counters to match the style of the recently released "Wings of the Motherland," and in fact the map will connect to Motherland for larger and different scenarios. The upgrade will also include a full edit on the rules, incorporating system developments and clarifications, and has some sweet stretch goals available, to include EVERY major type of plane used in the campaigns. Now on kickstarter, through July 31. [Forum]

- Against the Odds, Issue 51: Almost a Miracle! (new from LPS, Inc.)
Against the Odds magazine is now issue #51 with the insert game, Almost a Miracle, which looks at the entire "northern half" of the American Revolution. The game covers large and small battles, from Northern Virginia to Canada, with a system that models 18th Century combat and how it differed from later times, where morale, readiness, leadership, and mere chance all could be "the" critical factor at one time or another. - Magazine Parts from Against the Odds Magazine
Against the Odds Magazine has added a section to their website for selling "parts" of issues. This includes counter sheets, game maps, magazines without games, player aid cards, etc. It's also the place to request (for free!) the 'addenda' strips that came in some issue with extra or replacement counters for previous games. Not every item ever printed is available, but lots are. [Forum]
